Entering a counseling relationship can stir up mixed emotions. It's natural to feel some apprehension about inviting someone into your internal world.

I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Wake Forest University, am a National Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Associate in North Carolina. I am trained to accompany you with sensitivity, confidentiality, and insight as you explore your counseling concerns and take steps toward healing and growth. I feel this role to be a unique privilege and I am grateful for the opportunity to journey with you.

My approach to counseling is rooted in Person-Centered and existential/postmodern frameworks, which means I seek to understand you as a whole person and view your concerns as normal expressions of human experience. My background in ministry also informs my ability to hold light for you in seasons of darkness and to engage with the spiritual struggles that often accompany times of difficulty.

I enjoy working with children, teenagers, young adults, and parents. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally-competent, and trauma-informed counselor. Reach out and connect with me for a free 15 minute consultation to see if I'm a good fit for you.
